Default how i can do auto save in msword

The AutoSave option in Word doesn't really work like most people
would think, and some people would say the option doesn't work at
all. See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/AutomaticSave.htm
, http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm , and
http://www.gmayor.com/save_numbered_versions.htm .

Click TOOLS and select options, and then click the SAVE tab in the dialog
box. Under the SAVE OPTIONS has a SAVE AUTORECOVER INFO EVERY: option, which
is set to 6 minutes by defaults. You can increase of decrease the
autorecovery save at this screen

Hi Kevin -

Your attempt to assist the OP is certainly appreciated, but in this case is
inaccurate. If you' re not clear as to why you might do well to review the
first link offered by g-n-o.

The OP asked for an *auto save* feature and Word _does not_ have one. The
distinction between "automatically saving a file" & "saving AutoRecovery
info" is significant, and it is, unfortunately, the laxity in making that
distinction that helps perpetuate the confusion.
