Default Formatting a Table

I am trying to format a table in Word that someone else typed. I am having a
problem with it, b/c I first had to change the one page in the document to
landscape, but now it looks like the table is too close to the edge of the
margins.

Also, I need to add text right under the table, but am having a problem
doing that too! It wants to add it on the next page, I can't even get a
cursor under the table!

Thanks for any help!!

Mattie,
Have you checked if the table is not wrapped. Go to Table - Table
Properties- Table tab and change the text wrapping to None.
Does that help any?

Yes, it does. After changing some things in the table properties I was able
to center the table. But I am still having trouble adding text right below my
table. Any ideas on that?
Thanks for your help!

If you can't add text under the table, then it's because the table is
consuming the entire page. You might try reducing the bottom margin.
