My Word at work does not clear the clip board when I start it.
My Word at home does. E.G. I copy (ctrl c) something from a web page or
email, open word and then paste. At work this works. At home it doesn't. I am sure there is an option controlling this, I just have not found it. Can anyone assist? TIA, Skiph |

If your copy of Word at home came with Works Suite, then the culprit is the
Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word. This is just one of its many nasty habits. If you're running Word freestanding (not starting it from the Works Task Launcher), you need to uninstall the add-in through Windows Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. -- Suzanne S. 22 minutes from me asking until I got a response. What were you guys doing,
partying? Hope you realize that my tongue is frimly planted in cheek. This answered my question. Word even opens quicker now. Thanks greatly for your help. It was a massive annoyance.
