Default Why do I get the error "The file (filename) is not available"?

When I try to open a file in my documents, I get the error that the file is
not available. When I try to open an excel document, it gives me the error
that it is unable to open the file.

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How to use Office
programs with the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in" for more
information.
