Tracking Changes
Tracking changes is on within Word each time I open it. I do not want this
on as a default. I change it every time to say I do not want it turned on, but each time I go back into Word it is turned on again. How can I turn this off until I do want to track changes? Thanks, |

Tracking Changes
You have to open normal.dot (the blank document template) as a file
(via File | Open) and turn off track changes there. See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...alTemplate.htm if you need help to open normal.dot. Then follow the instructions in the article at http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/trac...ngesWorks.html to turn off the track changes function. Save and close normal.dot. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "TJAC" wrote in message ... Tracking changes is on within Word each time I open it. I do not want this on as a default.
