Add a "Rename File" feature
It would be very nice if MS Word had a feature in the File menu that allowed
users to rename files. In contrast with "Save As", rename would change the name of the file without creating a separate copy. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Add a "Rename File" feature
Problem (at least one major complication) is the OS will not allow the
existing file to be renamed while it is *open*. If the file is *closed*, renaming it is a snap. -- Regards |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "Alejandro Ramirez" Alejandro wrote in message ...
