Default apostrophe key

What font are you using? Some very old, cheap fonts do not have characters
beyond the ones that appear on the keyboard, which means that they do not
have the "curly" apostrophe and quotation marks. When AutoFormat As You Type
corrects a straight apostrophe to a "curly" one, you might well get a box,
which is the way many of these old fonts represent a character that is not
present in the font. If you use Insert | Symbol to look at the character set
for "(normal text)" when you are using this font, you will see which
characters it includes and which are missing.
