Access opening word containing fill in fields shows without toolba
I am using MS Access 2003 to open document templates in word 2003. If the
document template has standard text or merge fields, all is OK and the document is loaded with appropriate Word toolbars. If you add a fill in field to the document where the user is prompted for input, when the word document is loaded, all toolbars are gone. Looks like an orphaned screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I have heard of this, but have not been able to replicate it here
Does it make any difference if you start Word using Windows Start|Run..., typing winword.exe /a in the "Open" box? if so, I suggest you follow http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...peningWord.htm point 2 (even though it is discussing Word crashes, it is probably still a good route to follow in this case).
