Default Mail Merge

I'm trying to do a mail merge, and for some reason Word
is putting 0s in place of the required information. To be
specific, all Zip codes that are all numbers merge fine,
but the Zip codes that are a mixture of letters and
numbers are replaced by a zero.

Thanks
