Default Print an enlarge Chinese Character

I want to spilt an enlarge Chinese character into 4 different portions
proportionally using 4 A4 size papers and print them out . So that I can
paste the 4 printed papers (the 4 different portions of the Chinese
character) to become a big Chinese character. How do I do it with microsoft
word?

Default Print an enlarge Chinese Character

I can think of several other programs (like Photoshop) you could use that
would make this job a little easier than Word... is Word really all you've
got? Do you have any kind of photo or graphics processing program?

If I were doing this in Word, I might do it this way:

Pull your character up in Word. Highlight it and get it as big as you can
-- say font size 1500 or something (you can type it in the font field -- the
dropdown doesn't go that high). Anyway, make it super big, but you want to
still be able to see the whole thing on your screen.

Make Word fully maximized and center your charact in the middle of your
screen. Go to your keyboard, up at the top, and press the button called
"PrtSc." Go back to Word, highlight your character, then press (on your
keyboard) "Ctrl" and "V," pressing Ctrl first but holding it down while you
press V. (this is the keyboard shortcut for "paste.")

Now you have a picture version of you character in Word, and can now use the
Picture Toolbar. If it's not showing up at the top, with the other menus,
just right click on your character and choose "Show Picture Toolbar."

What I would probably do is use the crop tool and cut 1/4 of the image, then
blow it up to fill up the page, print it, then hit "Ctrl - Z" (undo) until
I'm back to the uncropped picture, and keep doing that until I've got all 4
corners printed as big as I can get them.

You can tweak how they fit together the old-fashioned way, w/ scissors.

Hope this works!
