Default Copy and paste

i have two docs. everytime I try to copy and paste about
10 pages from one into the middle of the other the format
goes crazy in the new doc. How do you copy and paste so
that formats do not change?

You learn about styles and how they work!
http://addbalance.com/usersguide/styles.htm If you don't learn this you will
have problems with Word as long as you use it.

Until then, try Edit Paste Special Unformatted Text
This will make it a bit less problem but you will lose your original
formatting.
