Default insufficient memory/disk space in Word XP

Sometime i need to copy text, etc off a website (for academic reasons), but
when i go to paste it into Word, the message 'you have insufficient memory or
disk sapce' comes up, what does this mean?

Use edit paste special as unformatted text. Does that cause the error
still?
