Annoying Paste Text Trouble
When I highlight something like text from a web page and Control C, go to
Word and Control V, I get a very annoying box icon with an up arrow. Do it all again (highlight, CTRL C....) and I get the text I'm after! What's up with the icon? Thanks, Fred |

I've never seen the box icon you are talking about but I do know that when I
want to paste text that I've copied from the web, I don't do a CTRL-V because the formatting is usually screwed up. Try going to Edit and select "Paste Special". This will give you some options and I usually choose "Unformatted Text" so I can format my text however I want, once it is pasted. I hope this helps. Good luck!!
