Format special paste links in word from excel
Hi favrr15,
It sounds as though you're seeing the cell gridlines or shading from Excel and/or you've got field shading switched on. For the former, you need to either suppress the gridline display in Excel (Tools|Options|View), or remove the cell shading, or paste the data using another format (eg unformatted text). For the latter, you can suppress the field shading display in Word (Tools|Options|View). Note that having fields display shaded doesn't affect the printed output. Hi Macropod,
You are expert, Do you know how I can reverse the 'enter' after the linked excell cells. I can not able to write into the same line. After preparing a linked excel cell in Word, it it automatically out an enter to be in a new line Thanks, Peter €˛macropod€¯ ezt Ć*rta: Hi favrr15, It sounds as though you're seeing the cell gridlines or shading from Excel and/or you've got field shading switched on. Format special paste links in word from excel
Hi Petrusz,
Whether you get a new line depends on how the data are inserted. If you use Edit|Paste Special, click 'Paste Link' and choose unformatted text or RTF, for example, you won't get a new line.
