Default How do I apply restriction exceptions by AD group in Word 2003

I am allowing certain users exception to restictive access to data fields in
a Word 2003 document. I have no problem adding individual users by their
domain log-on name, but to save time when a staff member leaves/joins I would
like to allow access by Active Directory group. Is this possible and if so
how can I achieve this?
Thanks
