remove formatted discription on side of document
ok I have never been to great at Word to start with. But now I have to use it
in college. I got a new version and it is driving me crazier. how can i get rid of the formatting distriptions on the side of my document. I just want to be able to type my paper, make changes and corrections without all the mess on the side, don't tell me what i did on my paper just let me see it. HELP |

From the Tools menu, select Options and then go to the View tab and set the

Or click the X to close the Styles and Formatting task pane if that's the

I do not think you understand. i wrote a term paper sent it to my professor
she makes corrections and comment and i have to fix the problem. when i correct or write more i have to use a different color, or mark through. when i do this i see no color change but i get a dotted line and a little box to the side that says what i did. i don't like this i just want it to show what i did and not boxes telling me. it gets too confusing. please help.
