Default Pressing Word "F1" launches installer

I have Word 2000 on XP Pro/SP2.

When I press F1 for help a box comes up saying "Installer" but with
no other information.

After a minute or two the box goes away and the normal Word help text
appears.

What is happening? How can I prevent that "Installing" box?

Hi David,

Since you haven't gotten a response here, try asking in the more
specialized group office.setup
