Default How do I turn off the Replace function once I've finished with it

Once I have used the Replace function in a document, it continues to operate,
preventing me from being able to switch between pages using the tags at the
bottom right of the screen. I cannot seem to turn the function off.

Um... do you see a Cancel button in the lower right corner, or an X in the
extreme upper right hand corner? Either of those will do nicely. Or, simply
press the Escape key.

Or, is there something else going on?

Click on the round Select Browse Object button between the browse arrows
(which are currently set to Find Next and Find Previous) and select Page as
your browse object.

The browse function always retains the last used option. To change it click
the button between the up and down browse arrows and set the required browse
option.
