Divide the table width by the number of columns, then set the width of the

Click on View - Toolbars - Tables and Borders and click the Distribute
Columns Evenly icon (example toolbar at http://www.allaboutoffice.co.uk/wordtabshad.htm )or click on Tables - AutoFit - Distribute Columns evenly.
