Wrong number of pages
I have a document of 30 pages.
When the receiver opens the document it is 41 pages. Has this something to do with the paper size setup on his computer? -- Vibeke |

Wrong number of pages
It could be related to the use of a different printer (actually the printer
driver), as explained in http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm, but that effect isn't usually so pronounced as to add an extra 50%. Do check the page size in both the Page Setup dialog and the printer's Properties dialog called from the Print dialog. Also check the Scaling setting in the Print dialog. Look through the list of compatibility options in the Tools Options dialog to be sure they're all set the same way. Also look at the font substitution setting in the same dialog -- maybe the recipient doesn't have one or more of the fonts being used in the document, and a larger font is being substituted for it. -- Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org "Vibeke Røsvik" wrote: I have a document of 30 pages. Wrong number of pages
This can easily happen if there a numerous hard page breaks, and they don't suit the page layout specifications for the user's
printer. Cheers -- macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] ------------------------- "Jay Freedman" wrote in message ...
