Where is the auto sum feature for tables in Word 2007? It used to be in
tables & borders toolbar but I can't find it in the new version.

You can add the Sum button to the Quick Access Toolbar (via Office button |
Word Options, Customize).

Best thing to do is add it to the Quick Access Toolbar. Right Click on the
Quick Access Toolbar and select Customize and the select All Commands in the
Choose commands from pull down and then scroll down through the commands
until you come to the Sum item and then select it and click on the Add
button and then on OK.

Hope this helps.

While my fellow MVPs are correct, it is worth noting that the function is
available from the layout tab with your cursor in the cell where you want to
insert the calculation. The item is Formula - in the Data section of the
Layout tab and if that cell is at the bottom of a column the default
insertion is Sum(Above). If the cell is to the right of a row of numbers it
will sum the row instead.
