Default How do I get rid of "ghost" lines in header row?

I formatted a 4-column header row with a color fill, and these white lines
appeared at the bottom of the row that don't seem to be connected to
anything. Anyone have this problem and how do you get rid of them?

A couple of things to check on:

1. Make sure you applied the shading to the cells and not to the paragraphs.

2. Make sure that none of the paragraphs in the row have more Space
Before/After than the others.

I tried both of your suggestions but the lines are still there. Any other
clues?

Different bottom cell margins could be the problem. So check whether you have
different bottom cell margins applied to the cells in the row(s) with the
problem.
