How can I format footnotes to sit in narrow column on left side?
I need to format the footnotes of a document to run down the side of a page
(like a narrow column) rather than along the bottom of the page. The body of text will sit adjacent. Can this be done? |

In the footnote text style set paragraph right to look like a small single
column. Footnote place at end of page or end of document are only two automated options though. "Georgia" wrote in message ... If you want this, you'll have to create your footnotes manually, placing them
in a text box or frame. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Georgia" wrote: I need to format the footnotes of a document to run down the side of a page (like a narrow column) rather than along the bottom of the page. The body of text will sit adjacent. Can this be done? |
