MS Equations not shown properly in Word 2008 for Mac
Hi, Everyone:
I use Microsoft Word 2008 for Mac on a Mac OS X (Version 10.6.8). In a manuscript, I inserted quite a few "Microsoft Equations" which often contain symbols with subscripts and/or superscripts. A colleague returned a copy to me with comments, but the Microsoft Equations do not show up properly: They generally look different; some superscripted characters overlap with each other; some subscripted characters overlap with preceding characters. If I double-click on an equation to open it in the editing window and then close the window without doing anything, the equation appearance becomes normal. I have quite a few equations and symbols throughout the text and cannot do it one by one manually. Could anyone tell how to resolve this problem? Thank you! --R. |
