Word 2003 opens a 11 x 9 vs 8.5 x 11 blank doc and/or template.

Please see 1,2,3 images below. Any ideas on how I can get back to size letter size format?

Looks like the truncated normal.dot does not include headers & footers.

A) Word 2003 has been updated with SP3
B) normal.dot has been deleated and replaced several times.
All to no avail.

Perhaps you have inadvertently turned on "Hide White Space"?

Place your cursor exactly on the line between two pages (it will change shape) and double-click.
