How do I auto-correct punctuation after quote marks?
After typing something like: "Let's not go there" said Jeff
I would like to auto correct to add a period at the end (afterJeff) How would I get this done? I am using Office 2003 Word. |

How do I auto-correct punctuation after quote marks?
Given that Word is not psychic, you will have to create autotexts for each
unique sequence or the result will be chaos. For this example simply pressing the appropriate key would be far the most sensible option, but you may get away with creating an autocorrect of said Jeff. from said Jeff -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org the penguin guy wrote: After typing something like: "Let's not go there" said Jeff I would like to auto correct to add a period at the end (afterJeff) How would I get this done?
