Default word perfect/word

one of the computers on my home network has word perfect, not word. the
network printer won't print word perfects docs. is there something i can do
to convert to word format or do i have to buy word?

The printer doesn't know if it's printing a Word file or a WordPerfect file;
it's just printing a bunch of instructions from the Windows printer driver,
and both Word and WordPerfect use the same Windows printer driver. The
problem is more likely due to how WordPerfect and/or the network is
configured.

appreciate the comment on configuration. other computers on the network use
word, so re-configuring the network not an option. how do i configure
wordperfect to be compatible? thanks

I don't know that much about WordPerfect. I still have WP9 (the current
version is WP12). You might try asking in one of the WP newsgroups at
http://support.corel.com/scripts/rig...p_faqid=754345 .
