Default Word Forms

Hello All,

I have a quite a few different Word docs that have spaces
for people to fill in sales figures. I would like the
figures to be automatically transfered into an Excel
spreadsheet which I then use to do calculations. I
thought I could add form fields to the document and
somehow get these into Excel.

Can this be done, and if so any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Regards

Julia

This can be done, but it requires VBA programming if you
want it to happen automatically.

There's also an option to "Save data only" for a form that
creates a delimited text file containing only the form field
information. This could be imported into Excel...
