Default Word not starting up and cursor not working

Hello,

I need some help. I can no longer open a word document without going to
file open and then when I do get a document open I cannot move the cursor
around the document at all to edit or make any changes. Does anyone know how
to fix this?

PS. I am an end user - no programing skills.

Thank you,

Mimi

Have you tried repairing the Word installation?

For detailed trouble-shooting, see
