Default Word dont have the ability to validate internal link

Hi all,

I have a headaid question on the word document. As everybody know that word
document supports hyperlinks (either internally or externally).

My question is:
If create a hyperlink in a word document that link to another word document.
for example:
I have 2 files:
c://document/A.doc
c://doucment/B.doc

In A.doc, I create a hyperlink that link to B.doc. Then I save the files.
And then I move B.doc to a new location, in this example, I will move B.doc
to: c://B.doc

Now, the hyperlink in A.doc will be broken as I have changed the location
for B.doc.

So, I'd like to know is there's a way that can automatically update the
links in A.doc after i change the location of B.doc?

Same question apply to FrontPage, and pdf file. I know this question is a
little silly, but please if anyone has any idea, please tell me. Thank you
very much.

FrontPage does update links automatically provided you move the pages within
FrontPage. Word does not have this ability.
