Default Office XP

To anyone who can help,
I have just completed 5 invoices on Word, part of office XP. I have
successfully printed 4 of the invoices with no problem, and i often produce
invoices without problems. However, on the final invoice i have encountered
an error: " This file was created by a newer version of Microsoft Word and a
converter is needed to open it. Do you want to download the converter from
the Microsoft Office web site?" Naturally i pressed "yes", however when it
connects to the office website it is just the home page of the web site.
Please could someone tell me where i can download the converter, as the
document was created in office xp along with the others and the invoices are
extremely important to my business.

Hi ?B?UmljaGFyZA==?=,

This sounds as if the file may have become damaged, and Word isn't recognizing
the file format any more. There's probably no way to get back the document in
the form it was when you saved it, but using the file type "Recover text from
any document" you should be able to at least get the text...
