Exporting to visio word properties
Hello,
I'm using word 2K and Visio 2K. In the word file I'm using fields that are taken from the file properties (author, last saved, etc.). In addition to the standard fields I've added few of my own. I wanted to know can I plant those fields in Visio so any changes in the word file would reflect in the viso file ? One solution I could think of is creating an excel file that both the word and the visio file would read the relevant fields from, but it got messy. Thanks |

Hi ?B?RXlhbCBTaHdhcnR6bWFu?=,

I wanted to know can I plant those fields in Visio so any changes in the word file would reflect in the viso file ? No direct way, certainly. Only thing I can imagine would be to insert DocProperty fields into a Word document, bookmark them, then copy/paste [special] with a link into Visio - if Visio will support that.
