Users don't like the size of the fillin field box. They want to eliminate the
return codes and have it on a single line. Can it be done?

I don't know, but I would recommend that rather than spend a lot of time
with this you consider UserForms (custom dialog boxes) which are much more
flexible and powerful or online forms. For more about online forms, follow
