Default Word automation - How to get spelling suggestions for languages?

I try to use word in the background in order to use the check spelling.
I am programming in C++. (NOT in VB)
When i call the GetSpellingSuggestions() function of the Application object
for a specific word (1st argument), the suggestions are always from the
spelling dictionary of the default language that is specified in the set
languages options dialog.
How do i get spelling suggestions for an other language? is there a way to
do this?
i am looking for a solution without openning a document, writing the word
and then spell it. i want to specify the language programmatically and then
call GetSpellingSuggestions() for that specific language.

i also noticed that when there is no spelling dictionary for the default
language, then a call to GetSpellingSuggestions() fails!

i also want to ask, how i can programmatically detect that the RPC server is
unavailable. is there a way to do that?

please help me!
thanks!
