inserting dashes
Does Word have a function for inserting dashes between a string of words?
e.g., automatically change "better than expected" to "better-than-expected"? Thanks. |

No, you would have to replace the spaces with hyphens manually. If this is a phrase you use often, you can make it an AutoCorrect entry so that, for example, you can type bte in the document and Word will automatically expand that to the full phrase including the hyphens.
