Default How can I get my mail merge to print in alphabetic order?

My datasource is an Acess 'query' and I put it in alpha order before I start
to merge but when I print the mail merge document it comes out in any old
order.

how can I get the letters in the 'word' mail merge to come out in alpha
order? I am using Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition 2003 with
business contact manage

Make sure that the query actually has the sort order defined in it. In SQL,
there needs to be a clause saying "ORDER BY something".
