Default How do I get page numbers in a TOC to change as the Word document.

I'm trying to get page numbers into a table of contents. The project head
wants me to make it so the numbers change on the TOC as they change in the
document (as she edits it). Is this possible?

Thanks!

It may be possible through macros or VBA, but it won't happen by any setting
you can simply opt to use. TOCs are inserted as fields which do not
automatically update because of the slowdown in performance if they did every
time pagination changed. Simply Rt+Click in the TOC and choose Update Field
from the menu any time you want to manually update the page numbers. |:)
