Forms text field minimum width
Does anyone know of a way to set the minimum width that a text form field
takes up in a sentence? I want to do this so that my form can be filled out electronically or by hand, and that enough space is allowed for either. |

With form protection turned off, double-click the field to open its Properties dialog. In the Default Text box, type Ctrl+Shift+spacebar as many times as necessary. An alternative is to create a table, turn off its cell borders, and insert the fields in the cells, one per cell. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
