Default Merge field problem

Hi, I link my excel table to merge with word. one particular field I want to
show percentage. At excel the data show 5.56%. When I merge with word it show
0%. why? I edit the merge field with this:

{MERGEFIELD "percentage" } * 100\#"0%"}

I try change the type of data at excel using general, number, percentage -
the result is same. pls guide me.

Yes, I follow as shown on your website, but merge field show syntax error:
!syntax error {

I used:

{ ={MERGEFIELD percentage } * 100 \# "0% "}

Did you use CTRL+F9 to insert the field boundaries?

thank you, I so for only use Alt+F9, new things for me. Thanks lot. I manage
solve the problem. It works fine.
