viewing margins in Word
I am having the exact problem as Milo in San Diego. It is......
"I like to work in "Print Layout" mode using the "Page Width" option so I can see exactly how it's going to look. In 2003, though, the viewing cuts off my top and bottom margins and showing me only a 10" ruler on the left side instead of the 11" ruler with the margin parts in blue. I know they are really there because they come back if I use print preview or if I actually print, but I'd rather see them when I'm working. Right now, it looks like the text is pushed up right against the top of the paper. I need to know how to correct this in viewing the page on the screen. It will print correctly, but it is the view that is the problem. -- help needed in Chicago |
