Default Problem with MS "recovering" documents that do not need recovery.

I'm getting an error message stating microsoft is recovering my documents,
but nothing needs recovery. If I "x" out the message, click on send error
report or click on don't send error report, the program closes down. I don't
lose anything, but this happens every time I transfer a document to a disk.
Any suggestions?

If you are trying to save a document to removable media, that's
probably what's causing the problem. Instead, save to your hard
disk and then copy the file, via Windows Explorer, to the desired
location.
