i do keep my wrist off the touchpad, thats what i thought i was doing wrong
at first but it's not that, and my typing still ends all over the place, can
someone please help me?

I have a suggestion but you might not like it. Plug in a regular keyboard. I
hate laptop keyboards. Nothing is in the right place and everything is so
scrunched together. If I'm doing anything that requires me to be on a laptop
for longer than a quickie project, I plug in a regular keyboard and ZOOM!

Turn off the touch pad in the BIOS and use a mouse or trackball and see if
the problem goes away. It almost certainly will. You may be able to reduce
the sensitivity of the touchpad in its associated driver software.

The other problem could be voice recognition software responsing to ambient
noise. Turn off the microphone.
