I need to remove single full line separator between text and footnotes

A footnote pane will open up at the bottom. Use the dropdown menu at the top of the pane to access the separators--the short one is the Footnote Separator, and you can copy&paste it so that the Footnote Continuation Separator (the full line) is a short line instead, or delete, enter something else, etc. I'm not entirely sure exactly what you want your final result to be, but that should point you in the right direction. -- Daiya Mitchell, MVP Mac/Word Word FAQ: http://www.word.mvps.org/ MacWord Tips: http://www.word.mvps.org/MacWordNew/ What's an MVP?
