lost modifications...
Hello,
I received an email with a joint doc. I opened it, modified if (for four hours ;-( , regularly ctrl-s for the whole time. Shut my pc down. Today I opened it again to finish the job and couldn't find my modifications... Could someone let me know if there's a work or temps file somewhere I could find my stuff? I have a IOmega connected to my pc which records the five last instances of all files from my c drive, thouhg using the name of my file I could not find anything. Thanks in advance if anyone could help me, all the best, David |

If you opened it directly from the email, then chances are you have indeed
lost it. However, have a look in the sub-folders of 'temporary internet files' -- you might get lucky. For future reference, save the attachment first, before you do any work on it.
