Default Run macro on Exit problem

Hello everyone. I was working with a document containing various form
fields. When I brought up the Text Form Field Options dialog box by double
clicking one particular form field and I clicked the Run macro on Exit
dropdown box arrow, I could not locate the desired macroname even though this
macro was stored in both Normal.dot and the actual document (created from a
template other than Normal.dot) I was working in. What's up with that?
Thanks.

Likely, it's a Private Sub MyMacroName(). Try changing the name to just Sub
MyMacroName() OR you've got it stored in ThisDocument instead of in a
Module. OR you've got it stored in another wrong module type.

Thanks, Ms. Anne Troy. I looked into the three possibilities like you
suggested, but no luck. It's strange that this particular macro is stored in
both the Normal.dot template and the document template, but isn't stored in
"All active templates and documents". However, I still could not find it
listed in the Run macro on Exit dropdown box. Really strange.

Can anyone tell me why in the Run macro on Exit dropdown menu, the available
macros to choose from are not exlusively those macros that only pertain to
the document template, but are mostly from the Bormal.dot template? Suppose
I selected a macro from Normal.dot that isn't in the document template, would
that macro still run on exit from a form field? Thanks.
