Default Help! Word keep changing capitals to lower case

Said it all in the subject line. When I type a word using the shift key to
capitalize the first letter, Word keeps changing the letter to lower case,
unless I repeat the action a number of times.

Are you sure you don't have CapsLock on?

If you haven't checked out the Word MVP site, you should. It is an
incredible resource. I hope the above helps.

It's off! All the lower case letters type as lower case. But unless it's
the first word of a sentence, the capital letters within the sentence are
changed to lower case, until I correct it about three times. Thanks for the
reply
