Default disabling auto correct with names containing an apostrophe

Whenever merging a last name containing an apostrophe, Word 2K insists on
changing the capital letter following the apostrophe to lower case. For
example:

O'Hare

becomes

O'hare

How can this behavior be disabled?

Thanks!

Hi Bosconian,

O'Hare

O'hare

How can this behavior be disabled?

If you press Alt+F9 you should see the MergeField field codes. Do you see
any switches in the field for the last name, such as \* Caps or \* FirstCaps
?

Cindy, you guess it. There is indeed a \* Caps switch.

Thanks a million!
