Variation on "keep with next"
Keep with next seems to move the whole paragraph to a new page if the next
paragraph cannot start on the current page (e.g. signature block on letters which is formatted to "keep lines together"). If the "keep with next" paragraph is long the result is ugly. Is there a way to automatically break the "keep with next" paragraph according to the "widows and orphans" logic so that only a line or two goes to the next page in order to keep with the next paragraph? |

Variation on "keep with next"
I wish! I had long assumed this was the way it did work, but apparently MS's
idea of KWN is that it would mostly be used for short paragraphs such as headings, and the behavior that surprised me is, I assured, "by design." Another feature that has been requested is a "Keep with previous" setting, specifically to keep signature blocks with at least the previous paragraph. -- Suzanne S.
