Default How do I activate in 2007 ribbon, View,Toolbar,Forms and padlock?

I have recently had to buy Office 2007, and I find it difficult to get used
to the ribbon rather than the trusted toolbars. The above (on the Subject
line) is what I used to do to lock a document for which I tabed through to
put fractions in which are already on the template. I have tried the Protect
document and Help to no avail.

Any help with this much appreciated.

The forms tools are on the Developer tab, which is not activated by default.
Check it in Word Options Popular.
