I am new at the writing of sales letters and I have started this new job and
I am really wanting to impress. I just got finished designing the new
business cards for the company and now I am working on a sales letter. BTW in
case you were wondering and I am sure it might help to know, we are a hotel.
I need a greeting that would fit any company I am sendning a letter to
without addressing them personally. I have 150 copies to make first off and I
want this to be the best I can put out. I am dealing with multi companies and
different fields of professions. I need a greeting that will fit them all
other than dear sir.

You mean "fond" of course. Yeah, that would work. I also like:

"Calling all cars" :-)

The good thing about Word, is regardless of which greeting you choose, all
you have to do is open a new document and start typing.

of composition and content. Nevertheless, having said that, you might want
to consider what strikes me as a fundamental problem. Apparently you want
to send a letter with a "personalized" greeting but you have no idea whom
you are greeting and it is not entirely clear why you want to greet them.
Presumably, since you are a hotel (or work for one) you want to sell its
wonderful services. But which and to whom? Travelers who will love your
comfy beds? Diners who are sure to relish the outstanding cuisine? Local
businesses looking for a swanky place for corporate functions? Local
businesses looking for a cheapo place for corporate functions? Beyond those
questions, you have the conundrum of making personal something which is
altogether impersonal: a form letter for a mass mailing. Perhaps you might
just skip the greeting altogether.

Another hint: "personal" greetings like "Dear Susan B. Anthony" are, in my
humble opinion, the height of the impersonal--far more impersonal than "Dear
Suffragette" or "Dear Fellow Traveler." And even more impersonal than no
greeting at all. They are unalloyed proof that your software stinks at a
pretty simple task and that you expecting your computer to give your
customers the "personal touch".

Agreed. If you're targeting local businesses, how about "Dear Local
Business" or "Dear Prospective Customer/Guest" or whatever? But in effect
your letter is really an advertising flier, so it might be better to
structure it as such, starting with something like "Here's news about the
great services XYZ Hotel can offer your business!" or "Find out about what
XYZ hotel can do for you!"
